HOW TO GET YOURSELF MOTIVATED

Nowadays the word motivation has become very popular. Speakers, motivational coaches, as well as books and articles are now available anywhere you go. What is actually the reason behind this? What does it do to us that everybody is looking for it and wanting it?

Our driving force is motivation. For us to accomplish the things that we want for ourselves, we need something that will push us to do it, in other words, a driving force or else nothing is bound to ever happen. A wish is not that neither impacting nor strong enough to make us take action. The weakest desire that we can ever think of is wishing. We need a strong desire to motivate us to push forward, to do something and achieve our aims and ambitions.

What is it that you actually want? We need to possess a strong desire in order to get motivated and be willing enough to do whatever it takes to accomplish the goals that we have set for ourselves.

The motivation that is commonly acquired by people is a short-lived one or in most cases, people lack motivation. How often have you decided to do a physical workout or a weight loss program enthusiastically but eventually lose interest in it? Or start learning a new language but once a difficult lesson is at hand we stop after a short while? The willpower and self-discipline that people possess are sometimes not enough to proceed with what they have began.

Motivation is easier to show when it is directly connected to something or a subject that means so much to us. If we want to achieve something or if we desire to have something, but are not motivated enough to act on it, this means that the reason or the desire is not that impacting on us for us to do something about it.  A strong desire should be possessed so that we can take action on the motivations that we yearn for.

Emotions and imagination play a big and important role with respect to motivation. Meaning, if you want to upsize it, you have to put effort on your emotions and imagination.

There are a few tips to increase our motivation:

Is your desire strong enough for it to motivate you to think and meditate upon it? Is the time that you put into it worth all the effort?

Writing your goals down will help you retain your focus on it. The goals that you set for yourself should be clear enough that you will not have trouble decoding it in the future.

The Law of Attraction is a very powerful tool that allows us to reach our goals. Therefore it is very important to keep your thoughts and focus on your particular goal or desire.

Think that the goals you have set are done or accomplished. Close your mind to any negative thoughts that might hinder you from visualizing a successful outcome.

Learn more about your goal. Look into necessary materials that will help you know more about it such as books and articles.

Read about success stories of people who were able to achieve their goals that are similar to your own to inspire you to work hard on yours.

Of course, there will always be positive effects associated to the goals that you have set for yourself. Think of those benefits more often so that you will be kept motivated.

Envision your goal. And think about the rush of emotions that you will feel once you achieve it.

Constantly affirm yourself such as saying to yourself: “My desires and inner strengths are strong enough in order for me to achieve my goal”.

Small things lead to bigger, greater things. Such as success. Little by little, do something small everyday that will contribute in achieving your goal.
