INTEGRITY

Integrity comes from your own set of core values wherein your decisions may not always make sense to a stranger. Integrity might sometimes make people ask and wonder your view points and decision-making skills.

Learning to live with yourself is more or less similar to learning how to live with others. The important thing is doing the right thing despite other factors that might be present or existing such as doing what is more convenient for us, or doing what we think is easy. What matters is that it is what is right even when other people might think of us as silly or stupid.

This is living in a seamless life. Everything that you do, your thoughts, actions, feelings and emotions and your set of values are all congruent with each other which is of course, not that easy nor simple to achieve.

I too, have acted in a seamless way a couple of times in my life. I once recently visited my hometown to attend the burial of my late cousin who had an accident in Texas. When I reached my city, I could not help but moan about the poor conditions of the roads! Imagine, they reconstructed almost all of the roads at the same time! It was so muddy when it rained and it was so dusty when the sun was up, either way it was something that will ruin a happy mood for sure.

The way we respond to others whom we do not like or hate are often what we need to get an overview of the type of integrity that we possess. When you buy a pirated CD because you know that “they will earn as much money if I didn’t anyways” is another example of seamless integrity. A flexible integrity allows us to react to situations or individuals who may not be pleasing to us in a calm and composed manner.

Integrity does not need recognition. When you do what is right even when you know that you will not be given due recognition is integrity. Sometimes, we let the rules dictate our actions. Just like when you meet deadlines because you know you will receive praises from your superiors. Doing something just because you will get noticed is not at all what integrity is about. Integrity shines most when no malice or ulterior motive is involved.

It should be at the center of our lives and not merely a luxury. A life of integrity will test and challenge you in ways that might not all the time conform to the dictates of society. But, integrity too will be responsible in giving you inner peace and satisfaction.

Integrity is not an easy topic, nor is it an easy thing to do. We have our own shares of failures and failing out, but when you have integrity, you will be able to see the sunshine after the rain, the smile after the outburst of tears, and the joys of laughter after the sorrows.

HAPPY CELLS, HAPPIER YOU!

Happiness is not just a state of mind; rather, it too includes the state of the body.  Our bodies support our happiness. This mind-body-happiness link was taken note by Dr. Candace Pert explaining that the chemicals of the body and the brain are responsible for creating our positive experiences. Pharmacopoiea is a natural happiness-enhancing drug contained in the brain as well as the brain’s painkiller known as endorphins, the anti-depressant hormone serotonin, the boding hormone oxytocin and the adrenalin hormone dopamine. The happy chemicals can be supplied 24/7 because your body’s “pharmacy” is open all day long. Remember, happy cells equals a happier you!

Eating plays a crucial role in your happiness. When you eat unhealthy foods, you are nourishing your body poorly which results in unhappy cells. Unhealthy foods are often the foods that we love to eat such as crispy bacon strips, juicy burgers, cupcakes, crackers, wonder breads and the like. We barely even know fruits and vegetables, because we stay away from them as much as we can! When we feel tired and stressed, we rev ourselves up with soda, ice cream and other sugar-rich crap expecting an instant energy boost. Feeding your body with too much junk will make you feel so horrible about yourself especially when you start noticing the extra pounds.

Now, it is time to clean up your Food Act! Time for some Food 101! You have to know that if you want to feel more confident and happy with yourself, the first thing that you have to get rid off in this diet is your sugar. Replace sugar with vegetables. Sugar is the main constituent of the “bad stuff”. Begin to understand the relationship between you, your energy, your moods and your food. It is time to say goodbye to the “Wonder Breads” and never-ending exhaustion!

Here are some General Guidelines you can follow to help you attain a happier you:

1.      Fresh and Whole Foods: If you want to feed your body with the necessary raw materials for the production of abundant happiness-inducing neurotransmitters, then eat fresh and whole foods because they are the closest foods to how nature made them. “Fake foods” are the foods that come in packages and cans. They have already gone through so many processes that every drop of nutrients has seeped away from them. As much as possible, buy the whole grain products or the organic produced ones. They might cost more than the usual packaged foods but I am sure that you will still be able to save much, much more through a fewer doctor visits and healthier lifestyle.

2.      Hydrate: Cells are not happy when they are dehydrated. Who is? Our body’s main composition is mostly water that is why we need water so much! Hydrogen and Oxygen are the two chemical elements that are required by the body in order to process fully the nourishment that we get from food. Make it a habit to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.

Do you know what the Happiness-Robbing Foods are?
Sugar, carbohydrates and coffee! White sugar, according to health experts is the biggest happiness destroyer in a person’s diet. It is addictive, causes wrecking havocs to the brain such as depression, anxiety and drop of energy. Carbohydrates are the main sources of mood swings. Instead of processed grains, eat the whole-grain products instead! That is the simplest trick to staying happy! And lastly, coffee! Once we feel sluggish and sleepy during office hour, we tend to reach out for that extra cup of aroma-filled coffee that only gives us a perk-up for a maximum of 30 minutes after which we are back to our sluggish selves again! Instead of the 3-in-one cup of coffee, why not give decaffeinated green tea a try? This is an anti-oxidant that provides you with sustainable energy and happier, healthier cells!

THE CHILD IN YOU

Do you know that you have an inner child? Do you know that your inner child is a part or a fragment of your real being, your soul? This is the reason why it is so very important that we reconnect with it. Because we will not be a complete whole if our inner child is missing.

Until we reach the age of six, the dominant part of us that consciously evolves from the womb until we are brought into this world is the inner child. A child’s emotional patterns and experiences in life are honed during this fragile time. All behavioural patterns whether good or bad, are developed during this stage in a person’s life. Characteristics are laid down and carried throughout life.

Our inner child is our innocent side, our angelic side, the person who we came into this world as. So what then is the purpose of reconnection? It don’t necessarily have to reconnect with it, all you might need to is just recognize its presence in you and learn how to reinforce your bond with it.

But when a connection has been destroyed or severed, the purpose of reconnection is the only solution because you have lost this portion of your soul. There might have been serious emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual trauma in your life which occurred during the first six years which has frightened this inner child. Your goal is to bring him or her back.

According to advocates, when an inner child flees from your being, he or she goes to Never, Never Land, just like what happened to Peter Pan’s inner child which is in part very true. Others may choose not to recognize it as such, but the inner child does go to another plane of existence that is far away from the source of trauma. The inner child has the capacity to flee because as we have said, he or she is only a portion or a fragment of our soul, not the physical being.  You need to find a way to bring this inner child back in you, and the only way to do so would be to release or heal your own personal issues, the source why the inner child left you in the first place.

Many encounters with people who are doing this kind of reconnecting have been accounted to and they have been heard saying that it is really true that there is a part in them that is not there, missing and they have no idea how to resolved it or even find it. Some, who may have experienced serious trauma such as rape, physical abuse or violence during the first six years, have chosen never to reconnect with the inner child because it is too painful for them to bear. How do you describe fun? How do you experience it? I am asking you this because there are people who do not know what it is or how to enjoy it. Others do not even know how to play, how to think straight or how to come up with their own unique concept. Some people also may not be emotionally attached projecting poor range of emotions.

The cellular memory holds your emotional energies that consist of your past traumas, issues and painful experiences. It continuously grows over the years if not resolved and dealt with. Do you know that cramped up emotions can manifest in diseases and other types of physical illness if not resolved? Begin your healing process where the issue started. If it started or began in your childhood, then start the healing process there. Strengthen your connection with your inner child in a fresh way. Rid yourself of negative emotions and energies to create a safer more welcoming haven for the inner child. As you go about rituals of cleansing and healing, your personal and spiritual side will grow and strengthen. Happiness will then set in and you will know and understand the true essence of fun through this reconnection.

OSHO: THROUGH THE YEARS

Osho was born in in a small village in Narsinghpur District of Madhya Pradesh state in India, known as Chandra Mohan Jain in Kuchwada. He was the eldest of eleven children and the son of a cloth merchant. He was sent by his parents to live with his grandparents until he reached the age of seven years old. This period became a major influence on his development by his account because he was given the utmost freedom by his grandmother, leaving him carefree without any imposed rules in terms of education and even restrictions.

When his grandfather whom he looked up to with so much adoration died when he was seven years old, he went back to live with his parents. He was greatly affected by the death of his grandfather, and again by the death of his cousin and childhood sweetheart Shashi due to typhoid fever at his age of 15, that he had a very extraordinary preoccupation with the concept of death that lasted throughout his childhood years and youth. He became rebellious during his school years, but still, since he was a gifted and intelligent student, he acquired a reputation as a formidable debater. He grew as an atheist, a nonbeliever of any spiritual being that was praised by the people around; he became interested in hypnosis and later on found himself associated with socialism and two Indian movements that promoted independence namely: the Indian National Army and the Rashtriya Swayamseyak Sangh.

He was nineteen years old during the year 1951, the same time he pursue his studies at Hitkarini College in Jabalpur. He transferred to D.N. Jain College which was also located in Jabalpur after he was asked t leave his previous college because of an acute conflict which he had with his instructor. His public speaking skills was initially launched at the annuan Sarva Dharma Sammelan which was also held in Jabalpur, organized by the community into which he was born, the Taranpanthi Jain community, from the period of 1951 to 1968. He was in no hurry to get married thereby he resisted his parents’ constant plea and pressure. According to Osho, he was spiritually enlightened when he was 21 years old, on March 21, 1953. After an intense seven-day process, Osho dropped all effort and hope. One night, he went out to the Bhanvartal garden located in Jabalpur and sat under a tree. The benediction and blessedness was all over the place as soon as he entered. Everything was light and luminous. He, for once could see the life from the sleeping trees which radiated life through its color. Although the whole garden was asleep, he said that he could feel the life in them. One tree stood out from all the luminosity, the tree was called maulshree. He said that his attraction towards the tree was not his own choice but God’s. As soon as he sat under the tree, he felt things began to settle. He viewed the universe as a benediction.

In 1955, he completed his B.A. in Philosophy at the D.N. Jain College after which he joined the University of Sagar and earned his M.A. in Philosophy in 1957. He was able to immediately secure a teaching post at Raipur Sanskrit College, but the Vice Chancellor found him very controversial therefore Osho was asked to seek transfer because he became a danger to his students’ morality, character and faith in their religion. He continued to teach Philosophy as a lecturer at Jabalpur University from 1958 and got a promotion as a professor in 1960.

In hindi, a popular lecturer was called a “golden tongue” and since his peers had acknowledged him as someone who was exceptionally intelligent, a man who was able to overcome hardships and deficiencies during his early small-town education.

He travelled throughout India, lecturing on things that are critical of socialism and Gandhi. He taught under the name Acharya Rajneesh, Acharya meaning a teacher or professor and Rajneesh which was a nickname that he had acquired since his childhood years.

“Socialism is a dead loss that would only socialize poverty. Gandhi was a masochist and reactionary who worshipped poverty. To escape its backwardness, India needed capitalism, science, modern technology and birth control”. – Osho

Religions such as the Orthodox Indian Religion was greatly criticized by him referring to it as dead, filled with empty ritual, oppressing their followers into thinking of eternal damnation and the promise of blessings. The statements: “they shocked and repelled many, but attracted others” made him so controversial. Wealthy businessmen and merchants became his followers. They sought individual consultations from him regarding their spiritual, developmental and daily lives, in return, they gave him donations which is very common in India much like seeking a psychologist is in the Western world. His practice was somewhat out of the ordinary which may also be the reason why it grew so rapidly. He was referred to as a spiritual therapist who had an uncommon talent. He began to lead 3 to 10-day meditation camps in 1962, this was also the basis for the first meditation centers that started to emerge out of his teachings which was then known as the Life Awakening Movement. He later on resigned from his teaching post in 1966 after his speaking tour.

He published his 1968 Lecture Series under the title From Sex to Super consciousness which scandalized Hindu leaders because of his freer calling for the acceptance of sex.

THE ROAD TO WEALTH

The words: riches, lots and lots of money and the ability to enjoy and splurge on almost everything that a person wants and whenever he wants it; is what we usually associate with the word Wealth. Wealth makes a person daydream about big mansions, first-class hotels, an all-around-the-world travel, and luxurious cars and   just about anything that money can buy.

Wealth is actually everything that is mentioned above, and so much more. Wealth does not only apply to money and possessions. It is a symbol of the plentitude manifestations in our lives and in nature through a variety of forms. There are a lot of things that a person can be wealthy of besides money. And these are love, kindness, goodness, compassion, strength, energy, wisdom and knowledge. Nature also has its own way of showing wealth in the immensity of life forms and plants that it produces, and in the countless stars and worlds that it has generated.

The Universal Consciousness, Spirit or Creative Power which is also known as the Life Force, aims to constantly express and make itself known and it does so through the physical composition of the plant species, animals, and the highest life form, the human beings. The Creative Power also seeks to express its aspiration to grow. Develop and become robust and bigger. Many people search for this desire and indigenous tendency for inhibited growth that is innate in them, due to its adverse programming, as well as, adverse way of thinking and the lack of faith in their abilities and most especially in themselves.

What contains unlimited wealth is the Universal Consciousness. It is constantly in the creation of more than what we have, and it consists everything in it. Its way of expression is through everything, even including the most basic individual unit that we consider as ourself. Yourself. The only problem that hinders us from the natural tendencies of the Universal Consciousness to freely show its creative omnipotence is in ways more than we can imagine.

Limiting thoughts should be thrown away and the mind should only be opened to prosperity. We do not have to worry about our limited capacities in life and the circumstances that are existing in the moment, because if we choose to change our thoughts and characteristics, and start pondering without pushing beyond our limitations, our lives will start a dramatic change. In our minds, refuse to be hooked up and be enveloped in limited circumstances. Ponder on the possibilities, and never on the limitations.

You should also be able to expand on your unlimited thinking to what you contemplate as yourself, your own personality and originality. Your Universal Consciousness is Your Consciousness. You are limiting yourself when you consider yourself as only a physical body. You will feel limited if you only identify yourself with your body even when you are consequently a limitless consciousness. You are participating in the creation of power. If you think about it, there is a connection that links us to the ultimate powers of the Universe.

IMAGINATION EQUALS INNER VISION

Inner Vision, which we can also call as Imagination, is a precious gift that brings to us many positive applications, but most of the time, it is something that is less often used and not rightly developed. Only a few people possess the ability of controlling what data enters the mind. Allowing our minds to go away with imagination whenever it pleases, and allowing thoughts to wander or mental images to come into sight on the “big screens” of our inner vision results in the lack of control that leads to the negative outcome of a lack of control in our lives as well.

Your life will definitely turn out messy if you allow your imagination to run wild and chaotic. Focus and control on the things that you want to visualizes on, keep your imaginations limited on those things alone, for this will result in unity with your life’s will.

What kind of imagination does the inner vision possess? The inner vision is the ability of a person’s mind to visualize mental image of an existing something. It is also the ability to visualize things, events or circumstances that does not exist in the present. Imagination is not only limited to visualizing images mentally. Our five senses can in fact be used throughout the process of visualizing. It is not impossible to visualize on the sound, taste, smell and even the sensation of something.

If you were but an observer, looking at your own mind, you will find out that your imagination is constantly in use in a variety of ways. You will see it thinking through events that have happened, is happening and those that are bound to happen. These events or situations may be planning, painting, writing, talking about something like describing a specific street, what you are reading, or what things you daydream about.

What things or hobbies do you actually like doing? Have you discovered your creative side? Do you know how to cook some delicious meals, to decorate or to put to action things you have recently known? If you have answered yes to all of these questions, then you are in fact using your imagination.

Even when you are feeling negative emotions such as worrying or feeling fear over something, you are using your imagination too. As the Law of Attraction teaches us, when we harbor negative feelings within us, we are attracting negative energies into our lives that will greatly affect us daily.

If you continuously visualize in your inner vision how you want your life to be and you continue watching it religiously through your mental capabilities with concentration and love, your life will exactly look like what you have imagined one day.

Some people claim that they have no imagination. This is a false belief. Your inner vision may be weak, but each of us definitely possesses imagination. A visual imagination that is not strong does not mean that you can no longer visualize with the use of your five senses.

Developing your ability to clearly visualize things can be fun. You might find that you can gain a power which you can use to shape up and improve your way of living if you exercise in developing your ability to concentrate.

HOW TO GET YOURSELF MOTIVATED

Nowadays the word motivation has become very popular. Speakers, motivational coaches, as well as books and articles are now available anywhere you go. What is actually the reason behind this? What does it do to us that everybody is looking for it and wanting it?

Our driving force is motivation. For us to accomplish the things that we want for ourselves, we need something that will push us to do it, in other words, a driving force or else nothing is bound to ever happen. A wish is not that neither impacting nor strong enough to make us take action. The weakest desire that we can ever think of is wishing. We need a strong desire to motivate us to push forward, to do something and achieve our aims and ambitions.

What is it that you actually want? We need to possess a strong desire in order to get motivated and be willing enough to do whatever it takes to accomplish the goals that we have set for ourselves.

The motivation that is commonly acquired by people is a short-lived one or in most cases, people lack motivation. How often have you decided to do a physical workout or a weight loss program enthusiastically but eventually lose interest in it? Or start learning a new language but once a difficult lesson is at hand we stop after a short while? The willpower and self-discipline that people possess are sometimes not enough to proceed with what they have began.

Motivation is easier to show when it is directly connected to something or a subject that means so much to us. If we want to achieve something or if we desire to have something, but are not motivated enough to act on it, this means that the reason or the desire is not that impacting on us for us to do something about it.  A strong desire should be possessed so that we can take action on the motivations that we yearn for.

Emotions and imagination play a big and important role with respect to motivation. Meaning, if you want to upsize it, you have to put effort on your emotions and imagination.

There are a few tips to increase our motivation:

Is your desire strong enough for it to motivate you to think and meditate upon it? Is the time that you put into it worth all the effort?

Writing your goals down will help you retain your focus on it. The goals that you set for yourself should be clear enough that you will not have trouble decoding it in the future.

The Law of Attraction is a very powerful tool that allows us to reach our goals. Therefore it is very important to keep your thoughts and focus on your particular goal or desire.

Think that the goals you have set are done or accomplished. Close your mind to any negative thoughts that might hinder you from visualizing a successful outcome.

Learn more about your goal. Look into necessary materials that will help you know more about it such as books and articles.

Read about success stories of people who were able to achieve their goals that are similar to your own to inspire you to work hard on yours.

Of course, there will always be positive effects associated to the goals that you have set for yourself. Think of those benefits more often so that you will be kept motivated.

Envision your goal. And think about the rush of emotions that you will feel once you achieve it.

Constantly affirm yourself such as saying to yourself: “My desires and inner strengths are strong enough in order for me to achieve my goal”.

Small things lead to bigger, greater things. Such as success. Little by little, do something small everyday that will contribute in achieving your goal.

GROWTH OF ENTHUSIASM AND LACK OF INTEREST

According to Gordon Parks, enthusiasm is the electricity of life. And how to get it is to act enthusiastically until you make it your habit.

What makes you feel enthusiastic, motivated and energetic? Do you feel these things when starting something new, but after some time doing it you lose interest along the way? This is most commonly manifested in practicing self-improvement programs, studying a new subject that we hardly know anything about, trying to lose weight through dieting, exercising or doing other things. Laziness oftentimes sets in as well as the lack of motivation, lack of enthusiasm, and lack of willpower despite the fact that we know that what we are doing is something that can help us in one way or another. This places a burden upon us that is mostly the reason why we lose interest to it.

We immediately stop and give up when we do not see immediate and spectacular results in what we are doing after spending so much time practicing on concentration exercises, meditation and self-discipline exercises and other programs. In life, in order to achieve success, we need to do hard work, put on some effort and time so that we can see results such as self-improvement and spiritual growth.

What do you actually do when you feel that you are little by little losing interest and enthusiasm over a particular important thing or situation? How do you persevere when you know that you do not have enough will-power and self-discipline anymore? Enough inner strength is necessary so that a program or goal will be worthwhile. What stands on one’s way are self-defeating habits, negative programming and lack of inner strength.

Enthusiasm and hopes can be replaced by depression, self-pity and lack of self-esteem if the books that people read and buy; the classes that they attend; and the courses and workshops are not making enough or any progress to their search.

A burst of enthusiasm and a high energy level can be mostly expected after watching a movie or listening to a lecture or reading a book or an article but this does not often last that long. It only survives for the time being but eventually, it wears down.

So how can you help yourself be constantly enthusiastic and motivated? It is not enough to accomplish anything if what we experience are merely short spurts of enthusiasm and motivation. We have to be focused on your goal, and in doing so, we have to keep our desire and inner flame alive.

Some of the things that we can do to keep this afire are:

To devote 10 minutes of our time daily to read and think about the advantages or benefits of what we want to do or achieve.
Read articles or books that contain success stories of people who triumphed because of tenacity and persistence.
For several minutes every day, find a quiet and peaceful spot where you can visualize yourself acting with intense enthusiasm and motivation.
Dedication, time, perseverance is the main requirements for every success. Meaning, you should never give up too quickly. A popular story about a gold prospector who, after digging at some depth did not find anything valuable, gave up and went away. Then another person came along and after digging a few inches more struck gold. The moral of this story tells us the we need to be patient and persistent at the same time even when during our first few tries we find no progress for you never know that success is just lurking at the corner, just a few inches away.
Affirm yourself continuously so that you can empower and inflame your enthusiasm and motivation.
Never think of your efforts as drudgery. Turn it into a pleasurable activity through some thinking and changes.
Despite losing enthusiasm and desire, push through with your goal once you have decided upon it. Never give up and most of all do not think that what you are doing is a burden or drudgery. Boredom is not reason enough to quit. Continue reinforcing yourself about the benefits that you will get once you have accomplished what you have set yourself to do.

OSHO: The Indian Mystic

He was born on December 11, 1931. His name is “Rajneesh” Chandra Mohan Jain also known as Acharya Rajneesh from the period of the 1960s, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh from the period of 1970s and 1980s, and eventually the name Osho in 1989. He was called an Indian mystic and teacher of the spiritual soul.

As a professor in Philosophy, he travelled throughout India as a public speaker in the period of the 1960s, speaking against socialism that raised so much controversy; he also challenged the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and other institutionalized religions. He was also called the “sex guru” because of his advocacy to a more positive and open attitude towards sexuality by the Indian as well as the International Press later on. He settled for a while in Mumbai (Bombay) during the 1970s. His disciples who are also known as neo-sannyasins started their initiation as he took over the role of a spiritual teacher. In his teachings, he shared with his followers his reinterpretation of the writings of religious traditions, spiritual leaders and philosophers from all over the world. In 1974, he moved to Pune where he established an ashram which a Hindu hermitage where people lived harmoniously amidst nature, that attracted a large number of Westerners. Therapies from the Human Potential Movement were offered by the ashram to its Western audience that made news and reached not only India but also abroad due to its permissive aura and the provocative teachings of their leader and founder, Osho. The Indian government and the surrounding society were mounting tensions by the end of the 1970s.

Rajneeshpuram was established by his followers as an intentional community in the state of Oregon in 1981, when Osho relocated to the United States. Within the period of one year, the leadership of the community became entangled with the brewing conflict with the local residents over the primary use of the land marked by bitter hostility that existed on both sides. Osho also attracted notoriety for his large collection of the luxurious Rolls-Royce motorcars. When Osho revealed in 1985 that the Oregon commune had committed a number of serious crimes including bioterror attack on the citizens of The Dalles, the Oregon commune collapsed. Because of this, Osho was shortly after arrested and charged with violations against immigration. In accordance with a plea bargain, he was deported from the United States. Osho then returned to Pune following an enforced world tour wherein he was denied entry by twenty-one countries. It was also in Pune where he died in the year 1990. Today, his ashram still exists and is known by the name of Osho International Meditation Resort.

Osho’s synergistic teachings elaborated more on the importance of meditation, consciousness, love, merriment, creativity and humour which according to him are the main qualities that are being suppressed because of the adherence to stagnant belief systems, socialization and religious traditions. He has greatly impacted the Western New Age thought and his popularity continued to augment even after his death.

YOU ARE THE BOSS

We often times keep thinking about the same kind of thoughts, visualizing the same kind of images over and over in our heads even without realizing it. It’s just like an unconscious manner that does not require us to put effort on ourselves by just thinking about it. It is more or less like a photographic memory. We keep on viewing the same images about certain situations in our heads that it is consequently related to how we live and go about with our lives.

These images that we create in our heads can also be changed or replaced with new, more exciting and meaningful images just like changing another disc inside the VCD Player. Thoughts are the major sources of how we go about living our lives, so if those thoughts were changed into something else besides the usual, we also see a dramatic change in our way of living.

But it has never occurred to people that a change of thought creates a change in living. They have never entertained nor accepted the idea or the reality of this. These are the people who are making the effort and are knowledgeable enough. They can only realize in a practical and direct way that their thoughts actually possess a certain kind of creative power if they continue on persisting with their efforts in becoming more conscious with their thinking process, and attempting to control and purify the composition of their minds.

A higher stage which is keeping the mind silent is something that a few only know about and only a few take the necessary steps in achieving it. If one actually does take the necessary steps in coming to terms with this stage, he then realizes in the end that he is a separate entity from his mind or thoughts, and instead, is actually beyond that. He then realizes and experiences first hand of his True Essence in a very clear and direct manner, and that the false impression is actually reality. This silencing ability gives us the full authority to switch it off or on whenever we wish.  Switching it off in our own free will gives us serenity and peace of mind, confidence and most of all, happiness. We are able to use the mind in the most effective way if we set our minds and thoughts in the “quiet” mode.

We become the boss of our minds through silencing the thoughts, and the ceaseless, exhausting chatter of the mind allows us to enjoy a joyous and a peaceful consciousness.

Silence is the first and most important virtue. It is through restraining our tongue that we are able to reach out to the highest powers even when we are in the midst of trouble or burden. As they say, you will never know how to speak if you do not how to be silent. Yes, silence takes a lot of will power. But it is never something that we will regret. Through silence you will learn how to control your thoughts and emotions, think clearly and see the positive dimension of things instead of dwelling on how it is affecting us in a manner that we are not comfortable and satisfied with. Silence can bring us trouble, but most of the time it brings us the chance to improve and to change our perspectives.
